# Installation

## Server preparation

```shell
apt update && apt upgrade -y
```

```shell
apt install curl iptables build-essential git wget jq make gcc nano tmux htop nvme-cli pkg-config libssl-dev libleveldb-dev tar clang bsdmainutils ncdu unzip libleveldb-dev -y
```

#### Install GO

```shell

## Node installation

git clone https://github.com/atomone-hub/atomone && cd atomone
git checkout v4.0.0-rc1
make install

atomoned version --long | grep -e version -e commit
# version: v4.0.0-rc1
# commit: cd26cecf2278459245fdda215613a1a728202d3c
```

#### We initialize the node to create the necessary configuration files

atomoned init UTSA_guide --chain-id atomone-testnet-1
```

#### Download Genesis

```shell
wget -O $HOME/.atomone/config/genesis.json "https://atomone.fra1.digitaloceanspaces.com/atomone-testnet-1/genesis.json"

sha256sum ~/.atomone/config/genesis.json
# 5bd5d327fd294d8e9653ab97f28703df7d7e59d84238249bdd8dc7ed33408100
```

#### At this stage, we can download the address book

#### Set up node configuration

#### (OPTIONAL) Enable/Disable Snapshots

```

#### Create a service file

tee /etc/systemd/system/atomoned.service > /dev/null <<EOF

ExecStart=$(which atomoned) start
Restart=on-failure
RestartSec=3
LimitNOFILE=65535

**If peers do not cling for a long time or you see&#x20;**<mark style="color:blue;">**errors error: wrong Block.Header.AppHash**</mark>**, you need to use State sync or boot from a Snapshot**
